Lange habe ich meine Fotos über M$ OneDrive geteilt. Da das aber immer mehr zu einem Dateschutz-Alptraum und AI-optimiertem Kostengrab wird, dachte ich mir, ich mache das lieber selbst; unter eigener URL und Regie.
HanFSolo war der erste Nickname, den ich, noch bevor das Internet einen Namen hatte, Anfang der 90er Jahre in Mailboxen und Nachrichtenboards verwendet habe. Schon damals war der Alias „Han Solo“ schneller vergriffen, als man sich mit einem 14.4 kb Modem über Telefon verbinden konnte. Irgendwie bin ich daran hängengeblieben.
Ja, das „F“ in HanFSolo soll eine Anspielung auf die Pflanze sein. Damals war das cool, heute setzt einen das auf Marketingverteiler für professionelle und unprofessionelle Hersteller und Großhändler von legalen und illegalen Betäubungsmitteln.

For a long time, I shared my photos via M$ OneDrive. But since it’s becoming more and more of a data protection nightmare and ai-optimized cost grave, I thought I’d better do it myself; under its own URL and my direction.
HanFSolo was the first nickname that I used in mailboxes and message boards in the early 90s, even before the Internet had a name. Even then, the alias „Han Solo“ was sold out faster than you could connect with a 14.4 kb modem over the phone. Somehow I got stuck on it.
Yes, the „F“ in HanFSolo is supposed to be an allusion to the plant (Hanf = „hemp“ in english ). It was cool back then, but today it only leads to a lot of marketing emails from marketing distributors of professional and shady manufacturers or wholesalers of legal and illegal narcotics.
